We talk it through
A detailed health and injury history covering what hurts, how long it has been there, previous injuries, your work demands and training history, and what you need to get back to.

Mary Ann has been so helpful in treating my back pain and supporting my recovery from a recent ankle sprain. In a handful of sessions with her so far, I have seen a noticeable improvement in my flexibility and balance, and increased range of motion and strength in my ankle.
She will work with you to understand how the different muscle groups in your body interact and impact each other, and considers this holistically in tandem with your needs both during treatment and when introducing exercises to support treatment and recovery. She is truly incredibly skilled in her work and I cannot recommend her enough.

I would highly recommend Mary Ann, I've been seeing her regularly at Errol Street Chiropractic Centre in North Melbourne.
Her expertise has significantly improved my recovery and workout routine. She has a great understanding of what is causing tightness and always provides helpful advice on how to adjust and augment my training routine.
Her treatments have made a noticeable difference,

I found Mary Ann when I was in a lot of pain and needed a remedial massage, and I honestly feel so lucky that I did! From my first session, she was incredibly thorough, assessing my posture, movement and listening to where I was sore. She picked up on things I hadn’t even noticed and knew exactly where to focus.
I really appreciate how knowledgeable and honest she is. I started seeing her weekly, but as I improved, she recommended spacing my appointments out, rather than telling me I needed to keep coming back. She’s also given me exercises to help strengthen weaker areas and prevent future pain.
Mary Ann is so lovely and genuinely cares about helping you feel better. She’s super chatty, so my sessions are often full of talking and laughter, but when I’m tired and just want to relax, she’s equally happy to let me switch off. I’m so glad I found her and couldn’t recommend her enough

BEST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I've honestly never has someone so passionate and easy to talk to, I was emailed tutorial videos on how to begin my recovery after I already had a written plan, ALSO after talking over the phone after 1 consultation I was sent extra new exercises to suit my new Injury condition that's insane!.
Some people do what they do because it pays well, other people do what they do because they love it, this is one of those people who just loves to help and does it over the industry standard.

Every appointment begins with a detailed assessment to better understand your concerns, with treatment techniques selected based on the assessment findings.
A detailed health and injury history covering what hurts, how long it has been there, previous injuries, your work demands and training history, and what you need to get back to.
Movement and functional testing, postural assessment, gait analysis, palpation, muscle testing and relevant orthopaedic testing, with neurological screening where it's appropriate.
Only once I understand your presentation do I determine which techniques are most appropriate for you. These may include myofascial release techniques, trigger point therapy, dry needling, cupping, PNF stretching, kinesiology taping and joint mobilisation techniques.
You'll understand what was identified during your assessment, how it may relate to your concerns and what the next steps are. Your management plan will be designed to support your recovery, movement and function and may include corrective exercise, mobility work or movement retraining where appropriate.
